These are the policies of Multiverse Traveler. In order to keep the MUD flowing smoothly and without many problems. We, the immortal staff, have agree to implemenet the following rules, also know as policies. General Rules: 1. It is illegal to curse or swear on the cross-mud channel [OOC]. 2. It is illegal to harass or sexually abuse any player in any form on any channel, social, or emote. 3. It is illegal to spam on any channel, or use socials in a spamming manner. Spamming means repeating the same command over and over again. 4. Multiplaying is allowed for non-pk (player killer) players. However, due to the nature of pk, multiplaying is not permitted for pk players. 5. It is illegal to repeatingly use languages other than english on public channels. 6. It is illegal to abuse bugs in order to gain advantage for yourself or any other players, or to disadvantage any players. 7. It is illegal to use any agressive action on another player UNLESS both are pk OR they are on a Quest. [Agressive actions include any action that harms a player]. 8. It is illegal for a non-pk to aid a pk by healing the pk, helping a pk loot a corpse, or otherwise assist a pk in the battle of another pk. 9. It is illegal to summon scavenger mobs to the donation room. 10. It is illegal to trick someone to become PK. We have made an effort to make these rules cover as many cases as possible. However, it is impossible to cover everything. The rules are not subject to the players' interpretation, but to the interpretation of the immortals. If an immortal tells you that you are doing something illegal, then it it illegal. As long as you use common sense and respect the immortals, it is highly unlikely that you will find youself in that case. If you do feel that an immortal is being unfair, you do have the right to appeal their decision to the Implementor. The Implementor will listen to both sides of the issue as well as examine the MUD logs. The Implementor's decision is final. We expect that the Implementor will rarely ever have to make that type of decision, but for your sake, we have added that extra level of protection. The process of appeal is to mail the Implementor (via the MUD or via email). If you fail to observe these rules, the penalty can range from a warning (first time offenses or relatively minor offenses) to deletion. We hope that we never have to delete a player, but if we must, then we will. Siteban is a last resort after deletion has not solved the problem.
