| Description | Hello. How are you? I have 4 healthy chicken coops on my chicken farm, but today got only 1 egg, looking back I seem to not be regularly getting at least 1 egg per coop per day of the four coops on my chicken farm. I seem to remember eggs being more plentiful, even in the off season with yields regularly being at least six eggs. Not sure atm which if any Animal Husbandry's are currently being applies or if there is egg loss due to a lack of scarecrow? Just double checking cause I do feed mine daily, so less than 4 eggs means feed is costing more than returns in egg production, need you need at least 10 plucked chickens to make back the cost of the coops. Lots more information needed, would need to see the health of the chickens, as well as the age and things. |

Every chicken coop on a chicken farm has a chance that they will not produce eggs on any given day. In addition, other factors that can alter the egg production are: 1) Whether In Season or Not 2) If not in season, if you have studied the appropriate Animal Husbandry (II, III, or IV) for the season (Spring, Summer and Winter respectively) 3) Steward Charisma Bonus (randon chance for additional) 4) Scarecrow. Not having one means there's a random chance that animals could steal the eggs. Animal Husbandry I gives a random health bonus to your chickens which I have seen on the backend has been working. Reviewing over reset, I did find some issues with some of these bonuses working correctly that may account for reduced egg production. I have applied a hot fix to reset to upload tomorrow that should resolve the problems I found. |
