| Description | I have been told that this issue does not apply to all, but I cannot under any circumstances get the tavern to produce sound anymore, and apparently a few others have this issue. Further notes: upon trying to play sound through the settings (when selecting which sound you would like to play for different events in the tavern), I still get nothing but silence when clicking to 'test' that sound. | ||||

I'm not sure if this is related to the new server or the new version of Chrome/Chromium as I've noticed that my Chromium browser has a fatal segment fault due to a new Media handler they added. This issue does exist for any player using Chrome or Chromium based browsers. A work around for the time being is to use Firefox. I have not tested if Edge has this issue or not. |

I've uploaded new code for the tavern which converts it either between HTML5 Sound or Flash Sound depending upon what the browser reports it can support. This has made sound work again in Chrome and Chromium items. NOTE: If the sound is not working for you, please first try clearing your browser cache as you may have a copy of the old Javascript on your computer instead of the fixed version. |
