Blondebeard Strikes!
Fenia River - The shores of the Fenia River are no longer safe. A Pirate of legend has emerged and laid siege to many ships and other vessels near the water of the Fenia River. Estimates keep increasing every time we try and find out how much money, property damage, etc has been done by Pirate Blondebeard. Rumors have it that he and his groups of Pirates have taken most of the old Fulleria vessels and turned them against the people who travel the Fenia River. Several posse gangs have tried to stop the Pirates, but none have been successful. The reign of terror will not likely be halted anytime soon.
New Tunis, Valleria - An official press statement was released to the Secfenia Tribune the other day regarding the status of the former New Fullerium. New Fullerium has been declared a protectorate state of Valleria under the orders of Calmen Arendyke. We took some reporters into the dangerous areas of New Fullerium and asked opinions. We got everything from total joy to distaste. It seems some are happy and others are not so happy. However, as one man said, "As the nations merge and combine, sometimes we have to accept what happens and trust in a stable government to lead us. We haven't had that... maybe Valleria can do that."
Some other news that the people may like is the fact that Valleria is planning on switching the current currency in both Fulleria and in Valleria to a new gold standard that should stabalize the economy in both lands. The rumors have it that the new currency will be called the Secfal. Of course, when the currency is officially released the IME will probably have out new rates for exchange.
Some people in the Union of Secfenia say that this current move will upset the balance of power in Secfenia. Several analysts are concerned that we may end up living in a tripolar or quad-polar world that is at ends with each other. However, Mark Muria stated, "It is slowly happening. As nations merge, the Secfenia Nation will once again come up and bring us back the glory of the old ages."
Shi`tain Republic - News has it that the current leader of Shi`tain Republic is aging and that the government is looking for a suitable replacement. It is rumored that they are accepting applications.
