Poems Written In Vain

Poems in vain
Written for she
Word upon Word
But not one could be heard
By her whom he cared for 
And her whom he loved
His poetry had no meaning
And away from her shoved
The words woven for she.

For she cared not for the meaning
His poetry-she ignored every part
Though word upon word
And line upon line
He composed for her
With all of his heart
Spurned and rejected by she
Was this poet and poems
So he-
Stopped working and writing
Ripped up his paper
Set down his pen
Gave it all up
And called it the end.
