Love

Love can be a fickle thing.
You say you "love" your latest fling.
We all quip about love so true,
Yet when love crashes, we all feel so blue.

How can you love more then one?
Do you "love" them just for fun?
How can you love with a broken heart,
Except with the unbroken part?

I know that love is hard
Especially when you are holding the wrong cards.
Love is blind, love is mercy, love is kind.
Love is the thing that couples try to find.

But one more question I must ask,
Why let love be a mask?
Love someone who loves you,
And let your heart no longer be blue.
