Angela yawned and laid down to get some sleep. It was a long lonely day. She knew she wasn't completely alone though. However, she didn't know that soon she wouldn't have to be in the cell. her eyes closed and soon dreams filled her head.

Then, all of a sudden, she heard the door open. She looked around sleepily and realized it was still dark. The guard came over to her and tried to wake her. "Angela, you need to be quiet. It's time to go," the guard whispered. Angela looked up and wondered what was happening. She stood up and the guard walked through the door motioning for her to follow. She hesitated and asked, "Whare am I going?" The guard put a finger over his lips and whispered, "Somewhere far from here."

Angela smiled. She followed the guard out the door. Soon a few more people joined the group of two. Silently they walked through the maze of paths. Angela noted as they walked that sometimes they had to walk by unconcious or dead guards. Swiftly they arrived in the main castle. "This is where it gets interesting," one of the guards said as he was taking out his sword. The other guards followed suit.

Horns started to blow and they knew they had to hurry. It wouldn't be too long until the real prison guards would realize what happened. They dashed to the castle's enterance and the gate keeper turned around to attempt to stop them. However, a group versus one never is good odds. The gate keeper quickly met his maker and the group opened the enterance. Guards began to pour from different paths into the main castle enterance area. The group with Angela moved quickly away except for a few who remained behind to fight. One man threw some dynamite towards the castle bridge and smiled. The few who remained jumped off the bridge as the dynamite exploded. The gap left behind was not one that you could easily jump. The group with Angela ran to horses and took off.

Angela watched as she was raced towards unfamiliar territory. She looked around somewhat confused and somewhat scared of what was to come. She saw as they came upon a huge area. It seemed like one could live there for many years. She was escorted to a table and everyone from the group sat down. She dared not to do what they wanted because she didn't know who or why she was being taken. She sat down wondering what was going to happen next.

A man walked in and threw his dagger into the table. The dagger stood with most of its blade buried into the table. It's sapphire encrusted handle shined practically in front of Angela's face. "I tell you. We get so close sometimes. When shall be the time that we kill that bastard," the man said. "Fue, you shouldn't talk like that in front of a lady, " the man at the head of the table said who was the same man who had freed her from the prison. Fue said something in another language and stormed out of the room. The man at the head of the table shook his head. "Sorry about that Angela. Fue has lost a lot and has much hurt. He wants to restore things to a better time. However, he forgets sometimes we have to be patient. Please take some food and eat. You are welcomed to eat as much or little as you want. If there is something you want to eat, we can try and cook it for you, " the man said.

Angela nodded. She ate a little of the food that was there and watched them eat as well. After she was done, she waited to see what was expected next. The man at the head of the table noticed she was done and he stood up. "Angela, would you like to get some rest? It has probably been a long day for you," he commented. Angela nodded and stood up. He opened a door and walked through it. Angela went through the door as well following the man through several halls. He opened a door to a bedroom. the room was probably double the size of the cell she had known as her room. The room was well furnished with a bed, chairs, a table, and a window that looked out towards a field. He shut the curtains and sat on the chair. "This is your room, Angela. If you need anything, just let us know. We'll try to accommodate you any way that we can," he told her as he stood back up. Angela nodded as he left the room closing the door behind him.

Angela looked around in this new strange place. She took the quartz pendant out and stared at it a little while. She felt that this place was much safer for her than the cell. She laid down and soon sleep returned to her.

The man stopped in one of the many hallways and turned around heading back to Angela's room. He slowly opened the door and saw her sleeping on the floor. He smiled and walked over to the bed. The sheet off the bed was removed and draped over Angela's sleeping body. He headed out the door again and turned around before he left. "Goodnight, my princess," he said as he closed the door.
