Chapter 2

"Curse those bastards, they have killed another one of us," Amindamula swore under his breathe. "Are you sure that striking back will help," a young lady asked him. "You know as well as I do that we have to let them know we aren't going to be silenced," he told her. She sighed and asked, "Yeah, but do YOU have to be the one to do it?" He sighed. "You know I have to do it. It's my job," he told her. "I know... but I have a bad feeling in my gut about this mission of yours," she informed him. "Maybe you just have heartburn or are hungy," he commented offhandly. She shook her head and hugged him. "I don't want you doing this anymore. When will it be our time together," she asked. "Soon, I promise, but I have to at least do this one last mission. I'll quit after this one. I promise," he told her. "It's about time," she teased him. Amindamula smiled and kissed her head. He knew it was true. They had enough money now and he did about all he could do to help the cause. It was about time for him to retire. "Be back soon," she ordered him. "As fast as I can," he told her as he grabbed his backpack. He exited the house and started towards his destination.

During his journey, Amindamula's significant other sat at home. She stared out into the cold grey that surrounded her view. "I wonder why this world has to be so grey. Why do we so rarely see a day of good weather? Why must this world be so cruel to us? All I want is to spend time with him. Is that too much to ask for? I fear today may be the last time I get to see my love again. Maybe I am paranoid. Maybe I am just paralyzed by fear. Fear is such a horrible thing. If only I could shed it. Maybe when he returned I can. Why do I even fear? He has come back home many a time, but yet every single time he leaves, I fear it may be the last time I see him. Is it just me," she asked herself. She looked out the window and saw the rain pour down hard. Lighting streaked across the sky and brought its life partner - thunder. The pace seemed to quicken as her heart and thoughts did. Everywhere she saw couples and her heart grew more drear. The winds beat upon her heart and her mood became like the weather outside - gloomy. She watched as debris flew around and watched a lead get pushed here and there. She followed it up, down, left, and right. A clap of thunder rattled the house and the leaf was gone. She began to cry and laid down in her bed.

"I wonder what Liza is doing right now," Amindamula asked himself. He sighed and relaxed at a pub. Sipping down a drip he asked himself, "Why do I take this assignment? I'm trying to make them pay for taking away our freedom, but am I really helping anymore? Am I the cause of what I am trying to stop? Liza has my heart. Why haven't I just quit a bit ago and let her and I settle down? Can't I just give it all up to her? Can't I just let the new guys take over? I will, after this mission," he thought to himself. A man sat at the table. "Good evening, Amindamula," the man said. "Evening, Hog," Amindamula replied. "I've heard you want to get out soon," Hog commented. "That's right, Hog," he informed him. "Finally, you got to make her your wife already, boy. That will be my last mission to you from me. You've done a great job for me over the time you've worked for me," Hog commented with a grin. "Thanks," Amindamula said getting up. "Hold up there. Get a good night sleep upstairs and then get going in the morning," Hog ordered. "But I can make it," Amindamula protested. "Sleep. Then go," Hog commanded. Amindamula nodded and went upstairs for he knew he could use the sleep.

A young man approached Hog. "He's the one I follow," the man asked. Hog nodded and added, "He's your trainer. Learn from him good, Peet." The man nodded and went upstairs to sleep as well. He knew he would need it. The night quickly passed and when Amindamula opened the door to his upstairs room, he found himself a visitor. "Who are you," Amindamula asked. "My name is Peet. The ritual must begin," Peet told him. "I see. Then follow me," Amindamula commented. They exited out the pub and walked through the streets both of them carrying walking packs and sticks.

"In training for a marathon," Amindamula asked Peet. "Something like that. I'm in it for the bang of it. I love to see our cause just blow up and take em all out," Peet told him. "I see. Very green," Amindamula commented. Peet tilted his head to the side and looked at him funny. "Follow quietly. Don't attract attention. Stay low," Amindamula ordered with a scowl on his face. "But.. don't we need to be flashy," Peet commented. "Not at all. This is the way," Amindamula said. "Maybe the old way... but this is the new era, man," Peet scoffed at him. "I see... well, the new era can start after this mission. I don't wanna get killed," Amindamula informed Peet. "Whatever," Peet said silencing himself for the rest of the trip.

They slowly made it to the point of attack. Amindamula looked around and noticed it was quiet. He took out the bomb and slowly put it around parts of the power generator. "This should knock out a bunch of power in the area of the Fenia Palace. Then, they'll be able to make a few prison raids," Amindamula quietly told Peet. Peet nodded. Slowly he strapped the bomb on and took out the remote.

"Ready to go," Amindamula whispered quietly. Peet nodded and shouted, "Viva Secfenia!" Amindamula cursed under his breathe. "Why did he do this to me," Amindamula asked. Guards began to fly into the area. "Here goes nothing," Amindamula said with regret. A blue glow eminated from the bomb. "I love you, Liza," Amindamula yelled at the top of his lungs. Then all whiteness engulfed him.
