Mon Cherie Amor (Part II)

Chapter 2

Henry walked across the silent school to the girl's dorms, where Cherie was. He knocked quietly, and Cherie opened the door, stark naked. Henry hesitated, staring at her body, and then walked inside holding her hand. While neither of the two had ever had sex before, both of them were ready to face this moment as a milestone of what they thought a relationship was like. While their parents had often told them about the dangers of sex, the whole culture around them was based on the peddling of sex in some form, and it could not help but rub off on them.

"I really love you, Cherie," Henry said honestly.

"I know, Henry, I just hope you always love me," Cherie said tenderly.

"I will," Henry said.

"Whatever happens," Cherie said, "know that I love you too."

"I know you love me too," Henry replied.

Cherie laid down on the bed, on top of her covers, and blew out the lamp. The silhouette of her body showed in the pale moonlight. Henry disrobed and gently laid on top of her. They were both breathing heavily as they kissed and as their bodies rubbed each other. Henry was sensitive not to hurt Cherie, for not only did he care for his girlfriend, but he honestly did not know what he was doing, and so he was even more cautious than he would have been normally.

"I hope this is good," Henry says.

"I hope so too. I love the way it feels with you on top of me," Cherie said.

"I love the way it feels with you under me," Henry said, smiling.

The two of them then proceeded to have sex. It was slow and gentle, and both Henry and Cherie tried to do it so that Cherie was not hurt. After a while both of them got caught up in at, and they finished covered in sweat. Both of them were tired, but they wanted to talk about this new experience that they had shared. They hoped they would get to do it again sometime, though with four other people in each of their rooms, they would have to find somewhere else to go.

"You are really wonderful," Cherie said.

"So are you, though we have nothing to compare each other to. Maybe that is better, just to enjoy one person rather than endlessly compare each other to past loves," Henry said.

"Yeah, I agree. I would rather just know what you were like," Cherie said.

The two of them smiled as they spent the rest of the night together. Young love was a very strange affair, and the two of them were in full bloom. It might have seemed strange to others that love could be found so young, but in that day and age, people were accustomed to having sex when very young. Indeed it was considered strange if one was a virgin by the time one had finished secondary school, much less university education.

While the two of them were enjoying their evening together, making sweet love to each other, Daniel was not having such a good time. Already he felt like an outsider in this place. He was nothing but an intelligent poor boy to live among the scions of aristocratic houses. Having already felt the sharp and bitter remarks of the country folk who were wealthier than him, he feared the comments and snubs from those who were people who mattered, and knew it. Who would he be able to trust in this place, who were his allies. He thought Henry seemed nice, but it was rare for high nobility related to the imperial families to side with the sons of poor farmers when it came to the ridicule that young people spent so much effort dishing out to those they thought of as outsiders.

Henry slept the night peacefully. He was glad that he had proved himself a man, in his eyes at least. No one could question his manhood now, at least among the crowd of young men at the school. He had one eyewitness and participant and one person who he had told, and that would be enough evidence to prove his virility to any would-be challenger. Being thus satisfied with himself, he slept peacefully, knowing he had a wonderful young woman to be with who loved him at least as much as he loved her. There was no reason for him to be worried at all.

For Cherie, though, she spent the night beside Henry in a state of terrible worry. After all, something felt odd inside of her, and she was very concerned about what it might mean. She had felt wonderful while it was happening, but now she wondered if she had not given up too much too soon. There was nothing she could do about it now, though, so she might as well find a way to make it somehow. She really loved Henry, and she hoped they could get married someday soon.
