Haiku 1/20/01

Another day ends
As I ponder the sadness
Of this human life.

Why is there no love
For the nicest people here
On this blue-green orb?

I see love around
But none of it is for me,
At least not right now.

I wonder when I
Will find a sweet young woman
Who really loves me.

I hope it is soon,
As it is quite difficult
To live without love.

No soft kiss greets me
When I wake up each morning,
But such is my life.

Hopefully I will
Find the love that I have been
Searching for so long.

But until that day
I will have to learn to wait
And keep my patience.
